Our prices are in Britsh pounds sterling (GBP), per week - 7 nights and are shown here in your currency, at today's exchange rate, for guidance only.

PAYMENTS AND DEPOSITS

Once you have contacted us to confirm the period you require is available a deposit of half the total cost secures that period.

Should you decide to cancel, the deposit is refundable only if we are subsequently able to rent the period you have reserved.

You may pay by direct bank transfer/credit, personal cheque or by credit/debit card through the PayPal system (PayPal payments attract a non-refundable 3% surcharge to cover additional costs and are for UK only).

We recommend that you take out travel insurance both to cover you generally during your holiday and loss of deposit should you need to cancel.

The balance is payable eight weeks before the start of your holiday and is refundable only if we are subsequently able to rent the period you have booked.

On arrival you will also need to pay a fully refundable cash deposit of £ 200 (or equivelent) to cover any damages and breakages. Breakages are the collective responsibility of the renters i.e. regardless of which member(s) of the group have provided the deposit, the responsibilty for breakeage etc. is collective. The refund will be made in the same currency before you leave Gran Canaria.

Is our bungalow right for you?

The bungalow is situated in a relatively quiet residential/touristic area close to tourist facilities. It is not therefore suitable for loud groups or the holding of parties etc. You agree to respect a "quiet period" in the outdoor areas of the bungalow between 23:00 and 08:30. IF YOU WANT TO MAKE A LOT OF NOISE THEN PLEASE DO NOT BOOK. We reserve the right to intervene if you disturb our neighbours and, in a worst case scenario, to cancel your booking on the spot.

We have made every effort to make this accommodation safe and secure. Smoke detectors are fitted, fire extinguishers are provided and exit routes are clearly signed. There is a first aid kit in the property. There are NO GAS APPLIANCES in the property. The outdoor areas have tiles which are designed to reduce the chance of slipping. Windows have security grilles and security is provides at the principal and patio doors. Each bedroom has a strong box.

Please note there are two flights of stairs - an internal door and external child gate can be used to protect from these hazards young children. The pool is approximately 1.4 meters deep - it does not have a child-friendly shallow or paddling area however can fenced off for the protection of young children. A life ring is provided. We happily accept parties including children, however it is the responsibility of the adults in the party to ensure the welfare of those children at all times.

The bungalow has a special plumbing system which means that guests must agree not to discard anything down the toilets other than normal toilet paper. If the plumbing becomes blocked because other items have been placed in the toilets then, by booking, guests agree to pay for the plumbers fees to unblock the system.

Facilities

Facilities mentioned on this web site, verbally and in our other advertising are offered in good faith. However we reserve the right to substitute alternatives should it become become necessary due to circumstances beyond our control. Should any facility become unusable, for example, due to mechanical breakdown we will endevour to replace it or provide a substitute as soon as possible, however there may be a short period during which that facility is unavailable. Wi Fi internet access is provided for your own PDA, PC or laptop strictly subject to service availability. You MUST NOT us the internet connection for any illegal activities. We will corporate fully with the Police in the investigation of any illegal activities originating from the ADSL line.

Limitation of liabaility

All guests should take holiday insurance. In the extreamly unlikely event we had to cancel your holiday, our liability to you is limited to the monies you have paid for your accommodation. We are not liable for any consequential losses eg. the price of air tickets, lost earnings etc. Furthermore, it is the responsibility of all guests in your party to act responsibly at all times to protect both the physical safety and property of themselves and others whilst renting this bungalow.

Your Privacy

We promise not to divulge any information about you e.g. email addresses, travel dates etc., etc. to any third party.
